DIY Zero-Cal Energy Drink
(Electrolyte Sparkler)

minerals

Health Benefits

Replenishes electrolytes lost through sweat/activity without added sugar. ACV may support steadier blood sugar response and digestion. Hydration without the caffeine crash or jitters of a stimulant-based energy drink.

Ingredients

Base

Optional add-ins

Calories

Negligible (base version ~4 cal from sparkling water); add 100–130 cal if using a half can of juice.

David's Notes

Homemade Rockstar/Liquid IV hybrid. Base version (electrolytes + ACV + sparkling water) is essentially zero-calorie. Tasted it — the pineapple juice didn't add much and the ACV is pretty dominant already; the stevia/Reb M sweetness from the electrolyte packet carries it fine on its own. Juice is better treated as an optional flavor add-in, not core to the recipe. Sparkling water brand is flexible — just go zero/low-cal.

Replaces

Rockstar, Monster, Red Bull, and other caffeinated energy drinks. Also a lower-sugar swap for sports drinks like Gatorade/Powerade.
